This bass line is brought to life with the (optional) use of a bass overdrive pedal such as the Boss ODB3. This transcription has been arranged for both 4-string and 5-string bass guitars. The bass figure prior to the start of the Chorus descends down to a low C (which is outside of the standard range of 4-string basses). The TAB notation in these measures has been modified to accomodate 4-string basses, while the Standard Notation remains "as played" by Tim Commerford.
