Giant Steps - Transcribed solo ( starts to 2:54 ) by Katsumi WF violinist. Used the same note range as the Coltrane's Saxophone Solo sound and adjusted to Viola note range that is possible to play by Lower positions ( But it's not for beginner! ) Some of the notations are written by #s with #chourds instead of the flat chords to make phrasing more comfortable for the violinists. Those are not the best way to write if I needed to follow the western classical musical theory. Although, I wrote that way for tons of reasons. Just discuss with your musicians or mentors and then find a better way for you.This music sheet might be used for understanding / learning the ideas of phrasing he improvised, not just for performing the same solo to show off!
