About this arrangement

Choral Choir,Choral,SA Chorus - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1407201 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Karen Ivana. Folk,Traditional. 10 pages. Karen Ivana #989896. Published by Karen Ivana (A0.1407201). Well-known English folk song, first published in 1889 about a group of friends who borrow an old horse to go to Widecombe fair. Research suggests that the characters in the song were real people and the events in the song took place in 1802. The song is also known by its old spelling: "Widdicombe Fair" or as "Tom Pearce." This is a simple but entertaining arrangement, with plenty of drama and fun, for two part women's choir and piano. Vocal harmonies are simple and there is plenty of repetition. Also available is a more challenging version for SSA choir and piano, and an a cappella version for SSAA choir. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of popular titles and original compositions from a variety of voices and backgrounds. The length, difficulty, and retail pricing are determined solely by the discretion of the person who arranged or composed it.
