As the song builds, the suspensions, tensions - and resolutions - increase. The piano part is written with a simple, stride-like and slightly improvised feel. As such, feel free to completely ignore the written part and just follow the chords written above the piano grand staff. There is also accompaniment written for violin, viola, cello and bass, but it's optional. If you don't have a string orchestra handy, you can just accompany the choir with piano. There are sections where the choir sings a cappella. The piano can drop out there, but there is one section of the song where the strings and choir play together without the piano.
