Published by Imagine Music Publishing (IG.CMW221). 9 x 12 inches.Setting to music the words of the great American writer Edgar Allen Poe had always been a goal of mine. Finally at the urging of my friend and soprano, Koren Cowgill, in 2007 I finally set about to complete this task. What grew of this work was the song cycle A Demon in My View. Selecting those poems which had the greatest meaning to me personally I originally set them for voice and piano. In 2021, at the request of my friends Stacy and Tido, I reset the cycle for viola, cello, voice and piano in a new arrangement which I feel breathes fresh life into the moody songs.
