Saxophone Ensemble,Woodwind Ensemble - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.563097 Composed by Jerry Gray. Arranged by Austin Ralphson. Film/TV,Jazz,Pop. 39 pages. Austin Ralphson #1909407. Published by Austin Ralphson (A0.563097). "A String of Pearls" is a 1941 song recorded by Glenn Miller and His Orchestra and is a big band and jazz standard. Bobby Hackett did the famous Trumpet solo in the Glenn Miller version of the song, and it was featured in the 1953 Glenn Miller biopic The Glenn Miller Story starring James Stewart. I have arranged it for saxophone ensemble here with optional drum kit, and it has been performed successfully many times in concert. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
