" Das Album - schreibt Schumann an Reinecke - wird Ihnen, denk ich, manchmal ein Lächeln abgewinnen. Ich wüsste nicht, wann ich mich je in so guter musikalischer Laune befunden hätte, als da ich die Stücke schrieb. Es strömte mir ordentlich zu".
