A cheery holiday medley featuring the tune that would one day become "Deck the Halls." Originally a Welsh winter carol called "Nos Galan," it was later used as an Irish hornpipe called "The Piper in the Meadow Straying" before being adopted by the English. The second section features a rousing rendition of the reel "Christmas Eve." Commissioned by Lake Country Symphonic Band, Mineola, TX - Mike Holbrook, director.
