This Ross Edwards-inspired piece takes you on a journey through Australia's marvellous Daintree Rainforest as you experience the echoes of the infamous Green Tree Frog and it's mates (imitated by the Marimba),the ostinato hum of Australian crickets (imitated by the Wood Blocks) and delicate glimpses of surrounding insects (imitated by the Xylophone). The Alto flute is to be played meditatively calm with lots of expressive vibrato and a few energetic moments.
