Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1320901 Composed by Captain Alfred H. Miles, U.S.N and Charles Zimmerman. Arranged by Paul Taylor. March,Patriotic,Traditional. Score. 3 pages. Paul Taylor #909340. Published by Paul Taylor (A0.1320901). "Anchors Aweigh" was written by midshipmen 1st Class Charles Zimmerman while he served as a bandmaster at the US Naval academy. Originally he viewed it as a "fight song" for the football team, but later the piece was adapted as the unofficial March of the US Navy. It appears hear as a piano solo with no pedalling, although the arranger hopes that the player might feel free to use some pedalling here and there.
