Published by Molenaar Edition (ML.013545060-S). The andante in C major K 315 (K6 285e) was commissioned to Mozart from a rich Dutchman called Ferdinand De Jean. The piece has a simple solo writing and a linear symphonic part. The flute solo can easily emerge without having to compete with the orchestra. Written in the classical form of the sonata we find two themes. This follows a brief one and a revival.
