This piece is for Brass Quintet.  Both my sister and her husband played Trumpet as youths, and both quit playing the instrument in their teen years.  When they were planning their wedding, I wrote the opening melody, but didn't have an idea for a complimentary melody to expand the piece at that time. About ten years later I came up with the complimentary melody and orchestrated the piece for Brass Quintet.  I intended it to be played at their wedding, but hopefully it could be played at an anniversary.
