Published by RBC Publications (RU.10323S). 9 x 12 inches.Written in 1901, Army & Marine won the march composition contest sponsored by the London publishing house of Hawkes & Son. Zehle was still in German military service when this march was composed. He was undoubtedly grateful to the sailors who helped him and his military band return safely to Germany following their yearlong voyage to China. The march is both forceful and melodic.
