Published by Rob Bushnell (A0.752430). Bagatelle No. 4 from the Seven Bagatelles, op. 33, was written for solo piano by Ludwig van Beethoven. They were composed/revised between 1801 and 1802 and published in May 1803, although the autograph for the works states the year 1782, back when Beethoven was a young boy in Bonn. Beethoven used to call bagatelles Kleinigkeiten (or ‘trifles’). The fourth is in ternary form, starting in A major, changing to A minor before returning to A major with an embellished version of the original section. A recording of the original composition can be found here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIYTpAueMMg.
