Designed for middle-school-age students, it provides more complex rhythms and harmonies. Various melodies are presented throughout the piece, and different instrument groupings are often playing different material at the same time, producing an advanced texture for younger musicians. A key change is provided as well as a texture change, presented in the middle of the work, followed by a recapitulation of previous themes.
