Barbara Kirkby-Mason (1910-2000) was a British composer, pianist and pedagogue. She studied Piano at the Royal Academy of Music before developing a succesful career as a composer, lecturer and adjudicator. She is bestknown for her Piano method books such as The Modern Piano Course and The Adult Beginner, and continued writing books on Piano playing and theory right into her 80s. Puppy Dog Tunes is asupplementary volume to the Very First Step series for Piano. It contains a selection of appealing tunes for beginner pianists.
