My arrangement of the song would suit players of ABRSM Grade 5 and above. It is in F major with a key change to D for half of the piece…a great key for strings. The viola has the tune quite a lot of the time but I have tried to pass around some solos from one instrument to another. I have marked these ‘forte’ so that they will stand out. The cello has a solo in 4th position towards the end. The double stopping can be divided among players in a string orchestra but for a quartet is not too difficult, as I always try to use open strings for one of the notes.  I hope you enjoy playing this as much as I enjoyed arranging it!
