The Kyrie features long flowing lines with each part entering independently from each other creating a beautiful layering effect. The Gloria begins with a unison statement of "Glory to God in the Highest," which quickly splits into separate parts. An intricate organ sixteenth note pattern introduces the Sanctus beginning with a solo statement by the treble voices. The service concludes with a peaceful and beautiful Benedictus. Very effective choral and organ writing.
