Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.998884 Composed by Robert A. Howard. 21st Century,Children,Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Instructional. Score. 4 pages. Robert A. Howard #6486867. Published by Robert A. Howard (A0.998884). Berceuse is a short lullaby for piano. The piece quietly explores hypnotic minimalist repetitions in cycles. Berceuse begins and ends in E major, and is based on a ten bar ground bass (and its harmonies). This sequence is repeated a tone lower each time, until returning to the home key. Over this pattern, fairly static melodic material is introduced, which adds a further layer of added-tone harmony on each cycle. Variation in this piece is extremely subtle. The work is highly accessible and is appropriate for most standards of pianist, including students and more advanced players. Duration: 4 minutes.Registered with PRS (Performing Rights Society, UK).Composer's website: www.roberthowardmusic.co.uk This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
