There is, perhaps, no better example than his Berlinger Messe, written for the 1990 German Catholic Day, and originally for four solo voices and organ. Glowing reviews and critique have followed the Messe since, and Part revisited the work in 2002, pitting the small vocal forces against a string orchestra.
