Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1161184 Composed by Liam Onaitis. Contemporary. Score and parts. 34 pages. Liam Onaitis #761512. Published by Liam Onaitis (A0.1161184). This piece was intended to be a story about 3 little birds and a baker. Each 'act' takes place at a different time of the day. The harp sets the scene and isn't necessarily a character so much as it is a time piece and tone setter. The birds are played by the Piccolo, Flute, and Oboe, and The Baker is the Horn in F. Lonely Bird- A lonely little bird calls out in the middle of the night, this catches the attention of the restless baker who takes pity on the little fella and comforts him. After which the baker promptly falls asleep. The Argument- The Baker is awoken with the sounds of all the little birds having an outrageous argument. He is left with little choice but to inform the birds of his displeasure. The Baker- A day in the life of our jolly friend The Baker, he sings as he works and on this day he has some new friends singing along with him.Goodnight- The end of the day, the birds and The Baker all say goodnight to each other.
