Viola Duet Viola - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.811742 Composed by Michel Blavet (1700 - 1768). Arranged by Pat Spence. Baroque,Concert,Graduation,Standards. Score. 12 pages. Piper Publications #5739507. Published by Piper Publications (A0.811742). This is the fourth of a set of six sonatas for 2 transverse flutes published in Paris in 1728. The playing score has been edited and arranged for a pair of violas. Viola players during the eighteenth century were largely ignored so here is an opportunity to have fun playing music from this period in the style of the original. The musical notation has been modernised. All edits are shown in parentheses ( ) or dashed lines. The trill ( +) has been replaced by tr and the mordants signs have not altered. The five movements, Andante, Allegro, Aria - Affetuoso, Minuet & Giga are for equal players of intermediate ability or above. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
