He grew up in Titchfield, just outside of Portsmouth in the south of England and is largely a self-taught musician but began with lessons from his father who was also an accomplished pianist. He regularly performs concerts of his own brand of 'inspirational' music in churches and cathedrals. Here, with Blue is the Sky, he has collaborated with Geoff Lawson and provided an arrangement with a strong melodic line that would be most complimentary to Wind Band concerts and programmes.
