Boyce had been granted the Royal Privilege and Licence in 1745 to have his music printed and sold for a period of fourteen years. The list of subscribers to the publication includes everyone who was anyone and included one 'George Frederick Handel, Esq;'.This arrangement for clarinets and bassoon or cello can be tackled by players of intermediate standard and above.
