It was written for a string orchestra, but works well for a DOUBLE REED QUARTET (2 oboes, English Horn, and bassoon). Holst liked to throw the melody around to all the parts, so everyone gets to shine. The music is not difficult, however I would suggest advanced intermediate due to some challenging key changes.
