For Zimmermann, it was a good turn for a friend, a flutist. Unfortunately, the latter has never performed these cadenzas. The cadenza for the Concerto in G major and the two cadenzas for the Concerto in D major are not difficult to play and follow the spirit of Mozart. This edition continues the successful Cadenza series of Schott Music, this time with the flute as solo instrument.
