Water sports enthusiasts can swim, sail, and dive to their hearts’ content and the wonderful coral reefs are a must. In this composition, Johan Nijs depicts the atmosphere of the Caribbean. The first part describes dawn and the long awakening of the group of islands after a sultry night. A few hours later things are full of vitality again with the calypso in full swing.Strahlende Sonne, türkisblaues Meer und schneeweiße Strände... das sind die karibischen Inseln. Urlauber können hier herrlich sonnenbaden, schwimmen, segeln und tauchen und farbenprächtige Korallenriffe bestaunen. Johan Nijs malt in dieser Komposition ein Stimmungsbild der Karibik. Der erste Teil beschreibt den Sonnenaufgang und das Erwachen der Inselgruppe nach einer schwülen Nacht.
