His CAVATINE, Op. 144 (1915) constituted his single foray for the trombone, though the brilliant work shows that he clearly had a great feel for the instrument. Showing the instruments lyrical and romantic side, this early solo work for the instrument is a wonderful addition to any recital or concert.
