In the accompanying parts clarinet 1 does go up to top G fairly frequently making it fairly challenging. Clarinet 2 and the lower parts are easier, although they do use the full ranges of the instruments. Rhythmically straightforward, and beautifully melodic, this is a standard piece of clarinet repertoire now available for a new combination of instruments.
