This song recalls a sudden rainstorm where the sky seems to open up and soak the world.  The rain starts out loud and gets louder.  The rain seems to slow down, only to pour again.  Cloudburst is a dramatic piece and great for performances.  This is a more difficult version of one of my other compositions, Rainfall.  Students can compare the two and see that hard work and dedicated practice can allow them to play a more difficult and interesting song.
