The style is of Mozart's time (galant style), which the composer has studied thoroughly, arranging a lot of Mozart's pieces for the organ.The 1st mvmt with fanfare-like motives is followed by a slow mvmt (trumpets tacet) with more chromatic passages, the 3rd mvmt being a minuet with rondo-like repetitions of the main theme.Towards the end the melody line of the dramatic passage in the organ can be played if modern trumpets are used as it contains chromatic tones not possible on clarini.
