It is not known when the work was written. The autograph is preserved together with Vivaldis other two transmitted flautino concertos (RV 443, RV 444) in the Biblioteca Nazionale in Turin. The first edition of the work was printed in the Vivaldi collection Opere strumentali (1945-1972) edited by Gian Francesco Malipiero.
