It is copied in full score format.Vivaldi’s relationship with Dresden is well known, beginning around 1717. That year Pisendel traveled to Italy and became a direct student of Vivaldi’s in Venice. Pisendel will take a large number of Vivaldian works with him to Dresden. In later years the large number of Vivaldi’s works in Dresden testify to a real furor for the Prete Rosso in Dresden.
