About this arrangement

Bassoon,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1024734 Composed by Thomas McConochie. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and part. 27 pages. Thomas McConochie #6857547. Published by Thomas McConochie (A0.1024734). The music is inspired by video game music (and a little bit of funk, too). Mvt I is inspired by modern open-world games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Mvt II is inspired by classical games like Castlevania, Metroid, Mario Bros. etc. Mvt III is inspired by funk music (and video game music generally).Originally a sonata for tuba and piano, I have now arranged it for contrabassoon and piano. A big shout out to pro contrabassoon player, Richard Bobo, for giving excellent suggestions on making the piece more playable for contrabassoon (transposing the piece down a fourth helped).
