The engine had been used at Newdigate Colliery, near Bedworth (Warwickshire, UK) and my father was instrumental in saving it from being scrapped while it was there. In recent years the engine has been used as 'Thomas The Tank Engine' and resides at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, Quainton (UK).
