Baton Music #BM1017-SET. Published by Baton Music (BF.BM1017-SET). Franz Lehár's Operetta 'Das Land des Lächelns' was composed in 1929 for the famous tenor Richard Tauber. The plot deals with the love between the Chinese Prince Sou-chong and Lisa, daughter of Count Lichtenfels. Besides the aria's 'Dein ist mein ganzes Herz' and 'Immer nur lächeln' became the overture of the operetta very popular.
