I slowed it way down and increased emotion by adding a countermelody and changing some harmony to richer chords. I also added many markings of dynamics and phrasing. A great piece to play when you want to let your emotions roam. Works well for a Lenten meditation as well.  Notes are easy and have an octave range in each part.
