About this arrangement

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1248648 Composed by Paul Taylor. 19th Century. Score. 3 pages. Paul Taylor #843144. Published by Paul Taylor (A0.1248648). This is a  mournful waltz for the early intermediate pianist in a truly neo-romantic style. Several things may be learned here 1) although suggested pedalling is indicated in almost every measure (basically when the harmony changes) , this decision is always up to the player  2) The indications in the score are what we might call "written out rubato." That is, ritardandos and tempo changes indications are plentiful and helpful for the acquisition of this essential skill 3)  Suggested phrasing is also plentiful in this score and can help the pianist develop their own ideas about phrasing.
