The title is Latin for an "ornamental headband, or crown." It is my hope that DIADEMA will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate and encourage their students. DIADEMA is dedicated to all of my former music students in the Madison County Florida School System, who I had the privilege of teaching from 1974-2016. All of my wonderful students greatly influenced, inspired, and enriched my life.
