The works in this series have a simple instrumentation, which makes them quite well suitable for smaller wind bands. This work is a short Fantasy on the popular folksong 'Jan Hinnerk', however the title has been changed into 'The Two Jan Hinnerken' as it is a euphonium duo with band accompaniment.
