This was a special treat for me, not only that it was a concerto of my music, but I was also given the honor of guest conducting this piece with my wife as soloist. Written in the style of a big band chart, it provides the chamber orchestra something a charming and different for programming including saxophone in the orchestration and multiple open sections for improvised solos.
