English."Dorian Variations" is a composition for string orchestra consisting of a ten measure theme in the Dorian mode followed by eleven variations of varying textures and moods, the last of which features the original theme in a chorale setting.  Some of the variations feature specific sections of the string choir, while others use contrapuntal (canonic) techniques.  Each variation supplies the string player with a solid musical experience at an easy level of performance.  It is ideal music for the young string player, while musically challenging for the more advanced performer. These products are currently being prepared by a new publisher. While many items are ready and will ship on time, some others may see delays of several months.
