The Duel for 2 Marching Percussionists was written in 2015 and premiered at Ohio Northern University. It features two players, each with a number of marching percussion (drumline) instruments in front of them. Both players use a snare drum and mounted cymbal while one player plays 5 tonal bass drums and the other plays the tenors (for 5 drums). It is for advanced high school or college level players, and is very entertaining to watch. It includes stick tricks and moves that are neat to see and do. All the tricks are fairly well known, so you could easily see them on YouTube.
