Encouraged by the "Orchestration Challenge" launched by Thomas Goss in the spring of 2020, I made this orchestration of one of Lili Boulanger's Morceaux, specifically the piece called "D'un Jardin Clair". In this approach to the work of this great French composer, I tried to be as respectful as possible both with the original version for piano, as well as with the style of the music of her time. The result is a colorful orchestration, very effective and closely linked to French music from the beginning of the 20th century.
