My longest piece to date - about 6 minutes.  arranged for picc, 3 soprano, alto and bass flutes.  This was my entry for the Galway Flute Festival composer's competition, 2019.  My visualization is a camping trip, where one is awakened very early by enthusiatic birdsong;  after grudgingly arising, the camper decides to go for a leisurely stroll through the forest.  The pace quickens a little upon encountering a downhill stretch, then settles back as the hike reaches its end.
