It is a beautifully visual piece of music, which captures very well the atmosphere of the sea, seabirds, fishing boats and a small coastal fishing community, all familiar to the composer from his childhood in the far southwest of the United Kingdom. The music has a thoroughly Celtic feel without being in any way stereotypical.
