After a short bridge, the theme is recapped by the whole ensemble. The ‘Exclamation’ section is a rousing march in Eb based on the earlier theme. The upper woodwinds/ brass and the low woodwinds/brass alternate melodic statements until they join forces for a triumphant finale.
