The Clarinet part is nicely straightforward and will suit an early intermediate player. It’s notated in the key of F. The guitar part would be in Eb - a key that makes guitarists go weak at the knees! Instead we require the bottom string tuned down to D and then a Capo fitted at fret one, so that we play in D rather than Eb. I make use of the “sub-harmonic trick” to create the illusion of a deeper bass than a guitar can actually play. The combination of clarinet and guitar makes a wonderfully haunting and moving sound that an audience will most certainly enjoy. I hope you enjoy playing this piece!"
