LaGuardia, Jr. He was a conductor I played under many times in my life, and the piece is full of little easter eggs and moments I shared with him. So it's intensely personal, but it should also serve as a pretty emotional Elegy for anyone.It is a bit difficult around page 2-3, due to fast octaves with polyrhythms, but most of it is very lyrical and slow.
