Organ - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1205162 Composed by Edward Elgar. Arranged by A.Herbert Brewer. 20th Century,March. Score. 15 pages. Cornelius Edition (uk) #803343. Published by Cornelius Edition (uk) (A0.1205162). In 1911 the nation was preparing for the Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary. Elgar received a request to compose a recessional march for the end of the ceremony. Elgar’s response was a work of almost symphonic proportions. It was probably one of the longest of all his many pieces in this genre but he had to reckon with a large royal entourage, recessing very slowly after a long Coronation service. Lasting about 10 minutes this piece is arranged for Organ and makes an excellent recital item. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
